April 19, 2021 Results of Appeal for Opinions on Draft Report from New-generation Mobile Communications System Subcommittee

Technical requirements for mobile communications systems in the 2.3 GHz band as part of technical requirements for new-generation mobile communications systems

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications made an appeal for opinions from Saturday, March 6 through Wednesday, March 31, 2021, on a draft report of the New-generation Mobile Communications System Subcommittee (Chief Investigator: MORIKAWA Hiroyuki, Professor, Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo) of the Department on Information and Communications Technology under the Information and Communications Council. This report was on the technical requirements for mobile communications systems in the 2.3 GHz Band as part of technical requirements for new-generation mobile communications systems as part of the technical requirements for new-generation mobile communications systems.
As a result, nine opinions were submitted. Accordingly, MIC has decided to open the submitted opinions to the public along with the Subcommittee’s views on the opinions.

3. Future plans
