May 11, 2021 Appeal for Opinions on Draft Revision of Guidelines for Operation of Article 27-3 of Telecommunications Business Act

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will make an appeal for opinions from Wednesday, May 12 through Thursday, June 10, 2021, on the draft revision of the Guidelines for the Operation of Article 27-3 of the Telecommunications Business Act.

1. Overview

MIC’s Guidelines for the Operation of Article 27-3 of the Telecommunications Business Act (hereafter referred to as “the Operation Guidelines”) has been established to show the concrete concept and case examples of the operation of Article 27-3 and relevant provisions of the Telecommunications Business Act (Act No. 86 of 1984).
Recently, MIC has decided to revise the Operation Guidelines to add specific case examples and clarify the rules in the Operation Guidelines, thus making this appeal for opinions in advance.
