May 18, 2021 Release of Digital Utilization Support―FY2021 Project Implementation Plans

Considering the study of the Digital Utilization Support Advisory Board, which has been organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) since March this year, MIC has recently formulated the document entitled “Digital Utilization Support―FY2021 Project Implementation Plans.” Accordingly, MIC opens the same to the public.

Background

Toward the people-friendly digitization that leaves no one behind, as indicated in the Basic Policy for Reforms toward the Realization of a Digital Society (Cabinet decision of December 25, 2020), MIC has organized the Digital Utilization Support Advisory Board since March this year. The Digital Utilization Support Advisory Board obtains advice from experts to ensure the systematic and effective implementation of projects that promote digital utilization support (hereafter referred to as “digital utilization support promotion projects”).
Considering the study of the Digital Utilization Support Advisory Board, MIC has recently formulated the document entitled “Digital Utilization Support―FY2021 Project Implementation Plans” and decided to release the same.
MIC will continue implementing digital utilization support promotion projects under the project implementation plans.
