May 24, 2021 Result of Appeal for Opinions on Draft Report from Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee

Technical conditions for the sophistication of fixed communication systems on 11/15/18 GHz bands as part of technical requirements for upgrading commercial and official land radiocommunications

The Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee (Chief Investigator: ANDO Makoto, professor emeritus, Tokyo Institute of Technology) under the Department on Information and Communications Technology of the Information and Communications Council, made an appeal for opinions from Thursday, February 11 through Friday, March 12, 2021, on its draft report on technical conditions for the sophistication of fixed communication systems on 11/15/18 GHz bands.
As a result, four opinions were received. Accordingly, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has decided to open the submitted opinions to the public and the view of the Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee on the opinions.

3. Future plans
