May 28, 2021 Appeal for Opinions on Draft Report Issued by the Roundtable Conference on Digital Utilization in the Post-corona Era

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will make an appeal for opinions from Saturday, May 29 through Friday, June 18, 2021, on a draft report issued by the Roundtable Conference on Digital Utilization in the Post-corona Era (Chaired by Jun Murai, Professor, Keio University), which has been held since October 23, 2020.

Draft Report Issued by the Roundtable Conference on Digital Utilization in the Post-corona Era

2. Overview

At this Roundtable Conference, discussions have been held since October 23, 2020, regarding a study on necessary efforts for the future toward digital utilization in the “post-corona” era from the viewpoint of establishing new daily life and realizing economic revitalization and regional revitalization, with a medium- to a long-term perspective kept in mind. Considering the discussions so far, the Roundtable Conference has drafted a report as a result of the study. Accordingly, MIC has decided to make this appeal for opinions on the draft report.

3. Period of appeal for opinions

No later than Friday, June 18, 2021 (Submission of opinions by postal mail must also arrive no later than the deadline date.)

4. Future plans

A final report will be compiled with consideration of the result of the appeal for opinions.
