June 1, 2021 Second Public Appeal related to Project on Digital Utilization Support under FY2020 Supplementary Budget

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will make a second public appeal related to the project on digital utilization support through a subsidized operator (executive organization) as described below.

1. Purpose of project

The project on digital utilization support provides subsidies to private businesses and other entities that offer advice and consultation on using online administrative procedures, services, etc. to assist older people who do not have sufficient understanding and skills regarding digital utilization. That way, the project aims to correct disparities in older people’s opportunities or necessary abilities related to digital utilization.
In this connection, MIC has decided to make this second public appeal concerning the project on digital utilization support through the subsidized operator (executive organization).

2. Outline of the second public appeal

In the second public appeal, MIC will seek indirectly subsidized operators (implementing organizations) of regional cooperation-type projects that the executive organization separately stipulates in the public appeal guidelines.
The second public appeal will be made according to the schedule outlined below.

3. Others
