July 30, 2021 Nomination of Candidate Organizations Participating in Project to Reinforce Regional Information Transmission Capabilities through Broadcast Content under FY2020 Supplementary Budget and FY2021 Budget
Based on the evaluation results of external experts, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has decided on candidate organizations participating in the project to reinforce regional information transmission capabilities through broadcast content.
1. Project overview
The purpose of the project to reinforce regional information transmission capabilities through broadcast content aims to produce content that conveys the appeal of Japanese regions through collaboration with local governments and local industries and to broadcast the content overseas. Also, the project aims to maintain and strengthen Japan’s information transmission capabilities by fostering interest in and demand for the region by implementing interrelated projects.
MIC has invited applications for this project through a subsidized entity (executive organization) from Friday, May 21 through Friday, June 18, 2021.
2. Selection results
Based on the evaluation results by external experts, 48 projects were selected as candidates for adoption.
