September 22, 2021 Result of Appeal for Opinions on Fifth Draft Report from IP Network Facilities Subcommittee of the Department on Information and Communications Technology under the Information and Communications Council

Technical requirements for telecommunications facilities in response to the spread of IoT as a part of technical requirements for telecommunications facilities corresponding to the switchover of networks to IP

The IP Network Facilities Subcommittee (Chief Investigator: AIDA Hitoshi, Professor at Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo) of the Department on Information and Communications Technology under the Information and Communications Council made an appeal for opinions from Friday, July 9 through Tuesday, August 10, 2021, on Fifth Draft Report on technical requirements for telecommunications facilities in response to the spread of IoT as a part of technical requirements for telecommunications facilities corresponding to the switchover of networks to IP (Inquiry No. 2020 of October 31, 2005).
As a result, 19 opinions were submitted. Accordingly, the Subcommittee has decided to open the submitted opinions and the Subcommittee’s views on the opinions to the public.
