January 14, 2022 Public Appeal for Proposals concerning Project to Support Development of Broadcasting Networks (Development of Alternative Transmission Systems for Disaster Information as Part of Project on Development of Disaster Information Broadcasting/Transmission Systems)

As shown in the attached Public Appeal Guidelines, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has decided to make a public appeal. This public appeal is for proposals concerning support for the development of broadcasting networks (the development of alternative transmission systems for disaster information as part of a project on the development of disaster information broadcasting/transmission systems).

As per Article 3 (5) (2) of the Subsidy Guidelines on Projects to Support the Development of Broadcasting Networks (hereafter referred to as the “Subsidy Guidelines”)

1. Period of submission

From Friday, January 14, and no later than noon on Friday, February 4, 2022.

2. Method of submission

Prepare a proposal document following the Subsidy Guidelines and the Public Appeal Guidelines and submit the document in the following methods.

  • Bring or mail one original, one duplicate, and a set of electronic media, such as a CD-R, to the competent Regional Bureau of Telecommunications (the Okinawa Office of Telecommunications in the case of Okinawa).
