January 21, 2022 Appeal for Opinions on Draft Report of Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee

The Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee (Chief Investigator: ANDO Makoto, professor emeritus, Tokyo Institute of Technology), Department on Information and Communications Technology under the Information and Communications Council, has been studying technical requirements for the wider band use of 920 MHz low-power radio stations as part of technical requirements for upgrading low-power wireless communications systems (inquiry number 2009, dated September 30, 2002) since July 2020.
Recently, the Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee drafted a report concerning its study. Accordingly, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will make an appeal for opinions on the draft from Saturday, January 22 through Monday, February 21, 2022.

2. Overview
