October 26, 2022 New Business Strategy Seminar for the Beyond 5G Era (Special Session)

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will sponsor a special session of the New Business Strategy Seminar for the Beyond 5G Era. This seminar is an initiative of the Beyond 5G New Business Strategy Center (co-headed by MORIKAWA Hiroyuki, Professor, Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo, and YANAGAWA Noriyuki, Professor, Graduate School of Economics, the University of Tokyo).

1. Outline

As a special session of the New Business Strategy Seminar for the Beyond 5G Era, which is an initiative of the Beyond 5G New Business Strategy Center, a special lecture will be held by inviting Mr. ONOE Seizo, NTT CSSO (Chief Standardization Strategy Officer), who was elected as the next Director of the Telecommunication Standardization Bureau of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) on September 30 and who is known as the "father of LTE."
