November 28, 2022 Solicitation of Proposals Subject to Subsidies for Projects to Support Radio System Dissemination (Project to Support Solutions of Bad Reception of Commercial Radio )

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has decided to make a public appeal for proposals on Subsidies for Projects to Support Radio System Dissemination (Project to Support Solutions of Bad Reception of Commercial Radio ), as specified in the submission procedure.

1. Implementing entities

Prefectures, municipalities (including collaborating entities of multiple municipalities), specified terrestrial basic broadcasters, etc. (including collaborating entities of multiple specified terrestrial basic broadcasters, etc.), and general incorporated associations, etc.

2. Project description

As specified in Article 3 (2) (d). of the Subsidy Grant Guidelines for Projects to Support Radio System Dissemination (hereinafter referred to as the "Subsidy Grant Guidelines").

3. Method for submitting proposals

1. Submission period

From Monday, November 28 through 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022

2. Application method

An application can be filed by preparing material on the proposal according to the Subsidy Grant Guidelines and the procedure of solicitation, and handing in or sending by postal mail one copy of the material and one electronic medium, such as a CD-R, containing the material to the competent Regional Bureau of Telecommunications, etc. (including the Okinawa Office of Telecommunications) or by using the system for filing requests for subsidies (jGrants).
