December 6, 2022 Solicitation of Proposals Concerning Project to Support Strengthening of Disaster Resilience for Common Antenna Television Facility Networks

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will solicit proposals for a project to support strengthening of disaster resilience for common antenna television facility networks as shown below.

1. Subject project

Project to support strengthening of disaster resilience for common antenna television facility networks, covered by the FY2022 initial budget

2. Project overview

(1) Implementing entities

Municipalities (including cooperative entities of some administrative associations and regional federations) or collaborating entities of municipalities

(2) Project description

As specified in Article 3, paragraph (2), [2] of the Subsidy Guidelines on Projects to Support the Development of Broadcasting Networks (hereinafter referred to as the "Subsidy Guidelines").

3. Method for submitting proposals

(1) Submission period

From Tuesday, December 6, 2022 through 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2023

    Depending on the status of applications, MIC may accept applications after the deadline. If you wish to file an application, please consult with the competent Regional Bureau of Telecommunications, etc. on an individual basis.

(2) Submission method

Prepare a proposal document following the Subsidy Guidelines and the procedure of solicitation of proposals, and submit the document by any of the following methods.

(i) Online submission

  • Submit the electronic data of the proposal using email or a large-capacity file transfer system specified by MIC to the competent Regional Bureau of Telecommunications (the Okinawa Office of Telecommunications in the case of Okinawa).
  • Submit the proposal by using the system for filing requests for subsidies (jGrants)

(ii) Hand in or send by postal mail one authenticated copy, one duplicate, and an electronic medium, such as a CD-R, of the proposal to the competent Regional Bureau of Telecommunications (the Okinawa Office of Telecommunications in the case of Okinawa)
