December 14, 2022 Approval to Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation's Resolution on Surplus Appropriation

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) approved the resolution of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation for its resolution for appropriation of surplus (interim dividend), in response to its application for approval dated November 8, 2022, as requested, in accordance with the provisions of Article 11, Paragraph 1 of the Act on Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, etc. (Act No. 85 of 1984).

• Interim dividend: 60 yen per share
• Total interim dividend: About 207.0 billion yen
