December 16, 2022 Renewal of Certification for a Management Capability Enhancement Promotion Organization in the Cable Television Broadcasting Sector Pursuant to the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Business Enhancement Act

In respect of Japan Cable Laboratories (representative director: TASAKI Kenji), which is a management capability enhancement promotion organization in the cable television broadcasting sector certified in accordance with the provisions of Article 39, Paragraph 1 of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Business Enhancement Act (Act No. 18 of 1999), the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has today renewed the organization's certification pursuant to the provisions of Article 33, Paragraph 1 of the Act as applied mutatis mutandis to Article 42 of the Act.

1. Background

The certification of certified management capability enhancement promotion organizations in each business sector that have been certified in accordance with the provisions of Article 39, Paragraph 1 of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Business Enhancement Act shall, unless renewed every five years pursuant to the provisions of Article 33, Paragraph 1 of the Act as applied mutatis mutandis to Article 42 of the Act, cease to be effective upon expiration of said period.
The certification of the following organization was renewed as a management capability enhancement promotion organization in the cable television broadcasting sector for which the Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications stipulates the guidelines specific to the business sector (Guidelines on Management Capability Enhancement in the Cable Television Broadcasting Sector (MIC Notice No. 417 of 2016)).
