The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will make an appeal for opinions from Wednesday, February 9 through Thursday, March 10, 2022, on a drafted ministerial ordinance for the partial revision of the Rules for Enforcement of Act on Identification, etc. by Mobile Voice Communications Carriers of their Subscribers, etc. and for Prevention of Improper Use of Mobile Voice Communications Services.

2. Overview

MIC has decided to make an appeal for opinions on the revision of the Rules for Enforcement of Act on Identification, etc. by Mobile Voice Communications Carriers of their Subscribers, etc. and for Prevention of Improper Use of Mobile Voice Communications Services (Ministerial Ordinance of MIC No. 167 of 2005). This revision will allow institutional development for identification documents required when concluding a contract for mobile voice communication services concerning the revision of the ground rules for the National Pension Handbook.

From Wednesday, February 9 through Thursday, March 10, 2022 (Submission of opinions by postal mail must also arrive no later than the deadline date).

An opinion submitted may be officially announced along with the submitter’s name (corporate name if the submitter is a corporate body) and information on other attributes.
Please understand that the MIC cannot give any specific answer to individual opinions submitted.

6. Future plans

With consideration of the opinions received, MIC will promptly revise the Rules for Enforcement of Act on Identification, etc. by Mobile Voice Communications Carriers of their Subscribers, etc. and for Prevention of Improper Use of Mobile Voice Communications Services.
