March 17, 2022 Result of Solicitation of Opinions on Draft Report of Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee

The Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee (Chief Investigator: ANDO Makoto, professor emeritus, Tokyo Institute of Technology) under the Department on Information and Communications Technology of the Information and Communications Council, solicited opinions from Saturday, January 15 through Monday, February 14, 2022, on its draft report on technical requirements for 5-GHz-band weather radar and 9.7-GHz-band general-purpose weather radar.
As a result, six opinions were submitted. Accordingly, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) discloses the submitted opinions and the views of the Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee on the opinions to the public.
