March 17, 2022 Result of Solicitation of Opinions on Draft Report of Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee

Technical requirements relating to the introduction of 5.2 GHz band in-automobiles wireless LAN under technical requirements for the advanced use of wireless LAN systems as part of technical requirements for upgrading of low-power wireless communications systems

The Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee (Chief Investigator: ANDO Makoto, professor emeritus, Tokyo Institute of Technology) under the Department on Information and Communications Technology of the Information and Communications Council, solicited opinions from Wednesday, November 17 through Thursday, December 16, 2021, on its draft report on technical requirements relating to the introduction of 5.2 GHz band in-automobiles wireless LAN under the technical requirements for the advanced use of wireless LAN systems as part of the technical requirements for upgrading of low-power wireless communications systems.
As a result, four opinions were submitted. Accordingly, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) discloses the submitted opinions and the views of the Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee on the opinions to the public.
