March 18, 2022 Result of Public Solicitation for Organizations to Implement Digital Interference Countermeasure Project

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) made a public solicitation from Friday, January 7 through Monday, February 7, 2022, for organizations to make environmental improvements and provide support for the smooth migration of conventional broadcasting to digital terrestrial broadcasting (under a digital interference countermeasure project) pertaining to the FY2022 budget.
The details of the proposal were evaluated by external experts, and, based on their evaluation, MIC selected a candidate organization to implement the project as follows.

1.Outline of the project

This project aims to implement countermeasures to prevent or eliminate radio interference with terrestrial digital television broadcasting through inquiries on reception problems and on-site inspections.

2.Candidate organization to implement the project

As a result of the public solicitation from Friday, January 7 through to Monday, February 7, 2022, and there was one applicant. The details of the proposal were evaluated by external experts, and, based on their evaluation, the following candidate organization was selected.

3.Future plan

In the future, MIC will accept a subsidy application from the selected candidate organization and make a decision to grant a subsidy after examination.
