March 23, 2022 Approval of Organizations Receiving Distributions of Charitable Contributions Attached to Charitable Postcards for FY2022

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) made an inquiry to the Information and Communications and Posts Administrative Council (chaired by KAWAHAMA Noboru, President, School of Government, Kyoto University) about granting approval under Article 7, Paragraph 5 of the Act on New Year's Postcards, etc. with Lottery (Act No. 224 of 1949) in response to an application filed by Japan Post Holdings Co., Ltd. Today, MIC received an opinion from the Council stating that it is appropriate to grant approval.
Based on the Council's opinion, MIC will grant approval regarding the application.
