March 31, 2022 Decision to Grant a Subsidy for Disaster Resistance Enhancement Project by Using Optical Cable TV to Establish New Day-to-Day Lives
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) decided to grant subsidies to the following three municipalities under the Disaster Resistance Enhancement Project by Using Optical Cable TV to Establish New Day-to-Day Lives out of FY2021 supplementary budget.
1. Project overview
This project subsidizes a part of expenses of such entities as municipalities and third-sector corporations for developing an optical cable television network to ensure reliable and stable information transmission in times of disaster in local areas and enhancing disaster resistance.
MIC offered a public solicitation for this project from January 17 to February 4, 2022.
2. Subsidized entities
Based on the results of evaluation by external experts, MIC decided to grant subsidies to the following three municipalities:
