March 31, 2022 Decision to Grant a Subsidy under Project to Support Development of Broadcasting Networks (Development of Alternative Transmission Systems for Disaster Information as Part of Project on Development of Disaster Information Broadcasting/Transmission Systems)

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) decided to grant a subsidy under the Project to Support Development of Broadcasting Networks (Development of Alternative Transmission Systems for Disaster Information as Part of Project on Development of Disaster Information Broadcasting/Transmission Systems) to an entity specified below out of FY2021 initial budgets, considering the evaluation by external experts.

1. Project overview

This project aims to subsidize a part of the maintenance cost of a wideband wireless system for a cable network owned by a third sector corporation, to secure alternative means of information transmission and strengthen the system's disaster resistance even when a cable network goes off the air due to a disconnection.

2. Subsidized entity

MIC has decided to grant a subsidy to the following entity considering the external experts' evaluation.
