April 1, 2022 Decision on Subsidized Entity (Executive Organization) for Project on Digital Utilization Support for Users under FY2022 Initial Budget

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has selected the subsidized entity (executive organization) for the project on digital utilization support for users under the FY2022 initial budget.

1. Purpose of the project

The project on digital utilization support for users aims to support digital utilization by citizens, close the "digital divide," and realize a society in which all members can enjoy the benefits of digitalization, by providing elderly people who may have trouble related to digital utilization with advice and consultation services concerning how to use smartphones for conducting administrative procedures, etc. online.

2. Subsidized entity (executive organization)

MIC made a public solicitation from February 3 through March 4, 2022, for the subsidized entity (executive organization) and selected the following entity as a result of examination.
Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory LLC

3. Future schedule

The executive organization will make a public solicitation for indirectly subsidized entities.
