The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) made a solicitation of opinions from Wednesday, February 9 through Thursday, March 10, 2022, on a draft Ministerial Ordinance Partially Amending Regulation for Enforcement of Act on Identity Confirmation, etc. Performed by Mobile Voice Communications Carriers for Their Subscribers, etc. and Prevention of Wrongful Use of Mobile Voice Communications Services (Ministerial Ordinance of MIC No. 167 of 2005). 2. Promulgation and coming into effect of the Ministerial Ordinance

Based on the results of the solicitation of opinions, the Ministerial Ordinance Partially Amending Regulation for Enforcement of Act on Identity Confirmation, etc. Performed by Mobile Voice Communications Carriers for Their Subscribers, etc. and Prevention of Wrongful Use of Mobile Voice Communications Services was promulgated and came into effect today.
