April 15, 2022 Public Solicitation for Organizations to Implement Project on Digital Utilization Support for Users under FY2022 Initial Budget

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) solicits project implementing organizations (indirectly subsidized entities) for the project on digital utilization support for users under the FY2022 initial budget through the executive organization (subsidized entity).

1. Purpose of the project

The project on digital utilization support for users aims to support digital utilization by citizens, close the "digital divide," and realize a society in which all members can enjoy the benefits of digitalization by taking measures including: holding seminars to provide elderly people who may have trouble related to digital utilization with advice and consultation services concerning how to use smartphones for conducting administrative procedures, etc. online; and subsidizing the dispatch of lecturers to these seminars.

2. Outline of solicitation

MIC makes a public solicitation for project implementing organizations (indirectly subsidized entities) for the project on digital utilization support for users under the FY2022 initial budget through the executive organization (subsidized entity).

Period of acceptance of applications

Nationwide development-type seminars: From Friday, April 15 to Thursday, April 28, 2022
Regional collaboration-type seminars: From Friday, April 15 to Friday, May 13, 2022

3. Others

This solicitation is to recruit organizations to implement nationwide development seminars and regional collaboration seminars.
The subsidies under this project are granted within the limits of the FY2022 initial budget. Whether to make the second solicitation will be decided based on the selection of the organizations through this solicitation.
