April 18, 2022 Result of Solicitation of Opinions on Draft Report of Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee

The Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee (Chief Investigator: ANDO Makoto, professor emeritus, Tokyo Institute of Technology) under the Department on Information and Communications Technology of the Information and Communications Council, solicited opinions from Thursday, March 3 through Friday, April 1, 2022, on its draft report on technical requirements relating to the introduction of 6 GHz band wireless LAN under the technical requirements for the advanced use of wireless LAN systems as part of the technical requirements for upgrading of low-power wireless communications systems.
As a result, 27 opinions were submitted. Accordingly, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) discloses the submitted opinions and the views of the Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee on the opinions to the public.
