June 23, 2022 Result of Solicitation of Opinions on Draft Report on Information and Communications Policy with a View to 2030

The Information and Communications Policy Committee (chaired by MORIKAWA Hiroyuki, professor, Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo) under the Information and Communications Council compiled a draft report on information and communications policy with a view to 2030 (inquiry number 26, dated September 30, 2021), and solicited opinions on the draft report from Friday, May 13 through Monday, June 13, 2022.
As a result, 23 opinions were submitted. Accordingly, MIC discloses the submitted opinions along with the Committee's views on the opinions to the public.

The matter will be deliberated in the 46th Information and Communications Council (chaired by UCHIYAMADA Takeshi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Toyota Motor Corporation).

3. How to obtain reference information

MIC will make the Attached References 1 and 2 available for viewing and obtaining copies at the ICT Strategy Policy Division, Information and Communications Bureau, MIC (11th Floor, Central Government Building No.2). These materials will also be posted on the public comment page of the e-Gov.
