July 7, 2022 Results of Adoption of Proposals for Kosen Wireless IoT Contest 2022

To foster and proactively utilize young human resources in the IoT field while promoting the effective use of radio waves, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) solicited ideas from technical college students nationwide from Monday, April 4 through Monday, May 9, 2022, and adopted 16 proposals.

1. Outline

MIC solicited proposals from students at 57 technical colleges nationwide regarding the Kosen Wireless IoT Contest 2022, and received 31 proposals (6 proposals in the area of the effective use of radio waves and 25 proposals in the area of the utilization of radio wave use system) from 21 technical colleges.
Among them, MIC has selected 16 proposals (4 proposals in the area of the effective use of radio waves and 12 proposals in the area of the utilization of radio wave use system) based on the results of the screening by experts at a meeting held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. 2. Future schedule

Aiming to realize the ideas adopted this time, MIC plans to conduct technical demonstrations until around March 2023, with the parties concerned centering on technical college students. MIC and the Administrative Secretariat will provide technical and operational support necessary for the demonstrations.
