July 11, 2022 Solicitation of Opinions on First Report of IP Network Facilities Subcommittee (Draft)

Since April 2022, the IP Network Facilities Subcommittee of the Department on Information and Communications Technology under the Information and Communications Council has been studying the "technical requirements of telecommunications facilities in response to increased diversity and complexity of network associated with the development of virtualization technology" as a part of the "technical requirements of telecommunications facilities corresponding to the switchover of networks to IP" (Inquiry No. 2020 of October 31, 2005).
The IP Network Facilities Subcommittee has recently compiled its first report (draft). Accordingly, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will solicit opinions on the draft report from Tuesday, July 12 through Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
