On Wednesday, September 7, Vice-Minister for Policy Coordination Mr. YOSHIDA Hiroshi was found to have contracted COVID-19.

2. Situation relating to Mr. YOSHIDA

  Mr. YOSHIDA works in the Office of the Vice-Minister for Policy Coordination, located in Central Government Building No.2 (Chiyoda-ku), and followed the necessary infection control measures, such as wearing a mask at all times while working. He has not been to work since Wednesday, September 7.

  Mr. YOSHIDA is recuperating at his home.
