October 6, 2023 Results of Second Round of Public Solicitation for Project on Digital Utilization Support under FY2022 Second Supplementary Budget (Implementing Organizations of Regional Collaborative Type)

Concerning the second round of public solicitation for implementing organizations of regional collaborative type for the Project on Digital Utilization Support under the second supplementary budget for fiscal 2022, Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory LLC, the subsidized organization, has selected implementing organizations.

1. Project overview

The Project on Digital Utilization Support aims to provide advice and consultation regarding online administrative procedures via smartphones and dispatch lecturers to conduct workshops at accessible locations to alleviate the concerns of older individuals and others regarding the use of digital technology.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications conducted the second round of public solicitation for implementing organizations of the regional collaborative type for this project through the subsidized organization Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory LLC (hereafter referred to as the “Executive Organization”) from Tuesday, August 1, 2023, through Friday, September 1, 2023.

2. Additional adoption results

A total of 35 applications from 21 organizations were received for the second round of public solicitation. Based on the results of the evaluation by an evaluation committee of outside experts established under the Executive Organization, 31 applications from 18 organizations were selected, as shown in the attachment.

3. Future plans

There are no plans to conduct a third round of public solicitation for the regional collaborative type for this project.
