November 7, 2023 Holding of Radio Policy Roundtable Aimed at Expanding Digital Business

Radio wave usage is spreading and evolving in every space and every socioeconomic activity. Therefore, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will hold the Radio Policy Roundtable Aimed at Expanding Digital Business. The purpose is to examine issues related to radio wave policies aimed at expanding digital business, set a new goal, and consider measures to promote the effective use of radio waves, in addition to designing the future vision of radio wave utilization.

1. Background and purpose

Radio wave usage is spreading and evolving in every space and every socioeconomic activity, including land, sea, air, and space, as technology advances and has become a source of innovation creation. Therefore, it is important to use radio waves as a foundation for growth in the digital society to expand business opportunities further.
Under such circumstances, MIC has decided to hold this roundtable to examine issues related to radio wave policies aimed at expanding digital business, set a new goal, and consider measures to promote the effective use of radio waves, in addition to designing the future vision of radio wave utilization
