December 21, 2023 Seventh Automatic Translation Symposium: Generative AI and AI Translation: Applications in Education

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), in cooperation with the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) and the Global Communication Development Promotion Council, is researching and developing multilingual translation technology and its implementation in society. This effort aims to eliminate all language barriers worldwide and realize global and free exchange.
The seventh Automatic Translation Symposium will be held at the Shinagawa Intercity Hall under the theme of Generative AI and AI Translation―Application in Education. The symposium will feature presentations by researchers on the latest technological trends and by educators on the use of automatic translation technology in educational settings. In addition, companies and organizations will exhibit their latest automated translation products and services.
