December 25, 2023 Holding Beyond 5G International Conference

Based on the Beyond 5G Promotion Strategy-Roadmap toward 6G (June 2020), the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), together with the Beyond 5G Promotion Consortium, will hold the Beyond 5G International Conference to accelerate industry-academia-government initiatives for the promotion of Beyond 5G and international collaboration for the promotion of Beyond 5G.

1. Purpose

This conference will grasp the international trends regarding the elements necessary for the research and development (R&D) needed to advance Beyond 5G. Through sharing efforts towards Beyond 5G advancement from the perspectives of industry, academia, and government both in Japan and abroad, the conference will consider international collaboration (in R&D and social implementation) among industry, government, and academia aimed at promoting Beyond 5G.
