February 1, 2023 Solicitation of Proposals Relating to FY2023 Subsidies for Projects to Support Radio System Dissemination (Radio Wave Shielding Measures for Medical Facilities)

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will solicit proposals relating to radio wave shielding measures for medical facilities as part of the FY2023 Subsidies for Projects to Support Radio System Dissemination, from Wednesday, February 1 through Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

2. Project description

Radio wave shielding measures specified in Article 3, Paragraph 1 of the Subsidy Guidelines on Projects to Support Radio System Dissemination (hereinafter referred to as the "Subsidy Guidelines") that relate to medical facilities.

2. Method for submitting proposals

1. Solicitation period

From Wednesday, February 1 through 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023

2. Application method

Prepare a proposal document following the Subsidy Guidelines and the procedure for solicitation of proposals, and submit the document by either of the following methods.

1. 1.
   Filing a request via the jGrants system; or
2. 2.
   Submitting documentation by email to the designated address.

MIC is conducting the solicitation of proposals as a preliminary procedure based on the assumption that the FY2023 budget bill will pass the Diet, so that subsidized projects can be started without delay once the budget bill is passed. It should therefore be kept in mind that the content of the projects to be implemented may be subject to change, depending on the content of the budget bill passed.
