February 7, 2023 Disclosure of Opinions on Draft Report on the Ideal State of the Basic Telecommunications Service System Relating to Broadband Services, etc. and the Telecommunications Business Policy Committee's View on the Opinions

The Telecommunications Business Policy Committee (chaired by MORIKAWA Hiroyuki, professor, Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo) under the Information and Communications Council compiled a draft report on the ideal state of the basic telecommunications service system relating to broadband services (inquiry number 1234, dated June 21, 2022) and solicited opinions on it from Wednesday, December 21, 2022 through Monday, January 16, 2023. As a result, 16 opinions were submitted. Accordingly, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) discloses the submitted opinions to the public and the view of the Telecommunications Business Policy Committee on the opinions.
