March 7, 2023 Public Solicitation (Re-solicitation) for Subsidized Companies (Executive Organizations) for the Project on Digital Utilization Support for Users under FY2022 Second Supplementary Budget

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has decided to make a re-solicitation from Tuesday, March 7 through Wednesday, March 22, 2023, for subsidized companies (executive organizations) for the project on digital utilization support for users under the FY2022 second supplementary budget.

1. Purpose of the project

The project on digital utilization support for users aims to support digital utilization by citizens, close the "digital divide," and realize a society in which all members can enjoy the benefits of digitalization by taking measures including: holding seminars to provide elderly people who may have trouble related to digital utilization with advice and consultation services concerning the use of smartphones for carrying out administrative procedures, etc. online; and dispatching lecturers to conduct seminars.
This re-solicitation invites applications from entities wishing to become subsidized companies (executive organizations) providing subsidies for costs to indirectly subsidized entities (project implementing organizations) conducting seminars and the like.

From Tuesday, March 7 through 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023

Complete and submit the application documents in accordance with the Subsidy Grant Guidelines on Promoting Information and Communications Usage Projects and the guidelines for the solicitation of subsidized companies (executive organizations) for the project on digital utilization support for users under the FY2022 second supplementary budget.

3. Future schedule (tentative)

Decision on granting subsidies: Late March 2023
