April 14, 2023 Public Solicitation for Organizations to Implement the Nationwide Deployment Type of Project on Digital Utilization Support under the FY2022 Second Supplementary Budget

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will accept applications for indirectly subsidized companies (project executive organizations) for the nationwide deployment type of Project on Digital Utilization Support under the second supplementary budget for fiscal 2022, as described below.

1. Project objective

The Project on Digital Utilization Support will alleviate the concerns of people, including older adults, about using digital technology. Through conducting seminars and dispatching instructors to provide advice and consultation on online administrative procedures via smartphones in accessible locations, this project aims to bridge the digital divide and create a society where everyone can benefit from digitalization. This public solicitation is for project executive organizations as indirectly subsidized companies conducting seminars under this nationwide project.

2. Solicitation overview

MIC will accept applications for project implementing organizations for the nationwide deployment type of Project on Digital Utilization Support through indirectly subsidized companies (executive organizations) under the second supplementary budget for fiscal 2022.

3. Future plans

This project will be funded within the scope of the budget. The implementation of the second round of public solicitation has not yet been determined. However, it will be considered based on the results of this public solicitation.

Public solicitations for the community collaboration type and lecturer dispatch type will be conducted separately in the future.
