May 12, 2023 Implementation of Info-Communications Promotion Month 2023―Digitalization to Change the Way We Live and Work

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) and the Council for Info-Communications Promotion Month(*) will hold events related to info-communications throughout Japan from Monday, May 15 through Thursday, June 15, 2023, as Info-Communications Month to promote the spread and promotion of info-communications.
Through these events, MIC and the Council for Info-Communications Promotion Month hope to provide an opportunity for the public to deepen their understanding of info-communications, which play a major role in building a prosperous and secure society.
(*) The Council for Info-Communications Promotion Month: An organization established to promote the spread and promotion of info-communications following the reform of the info-communications system in April 1985, consisting of various info-communications-related organizations of the private sector.

Approximately 180 events will be held around the country during this month.
