July 7, 2023 Results of Public Solicitation for Project on Digital Utilization Support under FY2022 Second Supplementary Budget (Implementing Organizations of Regional Collaborative Type)

Concerning public solicitation for implementing organizations for the Project on Digital Utilization Support under the second supplementary budget for fiscal 2022, Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory LLC, the subsidized organization, has selected implementing organizations of regional collaborative type.

1. Project overview

The Project on Digital Utilization Support aims to provide advice and consultation regarding online administrative procedures via smartphones and dispatch lecturers to conduct workshops at accessible locations to alleviate the concerns of older individuals and others regarding the use of digital technology.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) conducted a public solicitation for implementing organizations of the regional collaborative type for this project through the executive organization, Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory LLC (the subsidized organization), from Tuesday, May 16 through Thursday, June 8, 2023.

2. Adoption results

Following the public solicitation, a total of 707 applications were received from 183 organizations under the regional collaborative type. These applications were reviewed by the evaluation committee of external experts formed under the executive organization, and selections were made.

3. Future plans

Some applications currently under review by the executive organization may be selected after the completion of the review process.
Depending on the budget execution status for this project, a second round of public solicitation may be conducted.
