September 15, 2023 Results of Public Solicitation for FY2023 R&D Oriented for Promotion of Effective Use of Radio Frequencies under SCOPE (2nd Time)

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has selected one proposal as a result of an external evaluation of the second public solicitation for fiscal 2023 research and development (R&D) oriented for Promotion of Effective Use of Radio Frequencies under the Strategic Information and Communications R&D Promotion Programme (SCOPE).

1. Overview

MIC made a second public solicitation for fiscal 2023 R&D proposals under SCOPE, a competitive research fund in information and communications technology, from Thursday, June 1, through Friday, June 30, 2023, and received 8 applications.

2. Selection results

External experts and knowledgeable individuals evaluated the submitted R&D proposals, and based on the results, the R&D proposal from Nagoya University, under the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System (a national university corporation), was selected.
