September 15, 2023 Results of Public Solicitation for R&D Proposals under FY2023 Start-up and Budding Researchers Support Program
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has selected 41 research and development (R&D) proposals for the fiscal 2023 Start-up and Budding Researchers Support Program as candidates for adoption as a result of external evaluation.
Results of public solicitation
Kadokawa ASCII Research Laboratories, Inc., the implementing organization, publicly solicited applications for the R&D proposals of the fiscal 2023 Start-up and Budding Researchers Support Program from Monday, June 19 through Monday, July 31, 2023, and received 347 applications.
The evaluation of the submitted R&D proposals was conducted by external experts and knowledgeable individuals appointed by the implementing organization. Based on the results, 41 R&D proposals were selected as candidates for adoption.
In the future, MIC will provide support for R&D expenses to those who implement the adopted R&D proposals. Furthermore, MIC will also provide additional support by utilizing a nationwide network of organizations across various regions and fields. Under the division of roles between the public and private sectors, MIC will provide comprehensive support from R&D at the budding stage to commercialization.
Kadokawa ASCII Research Laboratories, Inc. will also promote the ICT Startup League, a public-private partnership in conjunction with this MIC project.
