October 7, 2024 The Holding of the Second Meeting of the “Committee of Infrastructure for Automated Driving”
To support the realization of automated driving, the Road Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), the Traffic Bureau of the National Police Agency (NPA), and the Telecommunications Bureau of the MIC established the "Committee of Infrastructure for Automated Driving." in June this year. The meeting will cover topics such as road structures suitable for automated driving, road-vehicle coordination systems, and systems for collecting and providing road traffic information.
The second meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 9 this year to discuss how information and communications infrastructure suitable for automated driving should be.
