Satellite Communications Systems Committee Results of the Solicitation for Opinions on the Draft Report from the Satellite Communications Systems Committee

 The Satellite Communications Systems Committee, chaired by Professor IKEGAMI Tetsushi of the Faculty of Science and Technology at Meiji University, under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council compiled a draft report on the Technical Requirements for Mobile Phones, which are part of the Technical Requirements for Mobile Satellite Communications Systems. The Committee solicited opinions on this draft report from Tuesday, September 3, 2024, to Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
 As a result, five opinions were submitted. The opinions submitted along with the Committee's position on them will be made available.

2. Future plans

 Based on the results of the opinions solicited, the draft report will be discussed at the next meeting of the ICT Subcommittee, chaired by OIE Yuji, professor emeritus of the Kyushu Institute of Technology, under the Information and Communications Council.
