Telecommunications Business Policy Committee, Information and
Communications Council Results of the Solicitation for Opinions on the Final Report on the Ideal State of Telecommunications Numbering System for Migration to IP Networks, etc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Final Report”)

 The Telecommunications Business Policy Committee, chaired by MORIKAWA Hiroyuki, professor at the Graduate School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, under the Information and Communications Council, solicited opinions on the Final Report (Consultation No. 1238 dated May 2, 2024). The opinion solicitation period was from Saturday, September 21, 2024, to Monday, October 21, 2024.
 As a result, six opinions were submitted. The opinions submitted along with the Committee's position on them were made available.
