November 15, 2024 Explanatory Meeting on the Correspondence Mail System to Take Place

 The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will hold an explanatory meeting on the correspondence mail system for users of correspondence delivery services and individuals who are interested in correspondence delivery businesses to promote understanding of correspondence and the correspondence mail system.

 (1) Outline of the correspondence mail system
 (2) Guidelines for correspondence based on consultation cases
 (3) An example of a local government adopting correspondence services (General Affairs Division, General Affairs Department, Hachioji City)
 (4) Initiatives by correspondence service providers to protest the confidentiality of correspondence
 (Association of Letter Service Enterprise)

 (1) People who may use correspondence delivery services (e.g., those in charge of collection and delivery of official documents at local governments and those in charge of collection and delivery of corporate documents)
