November 1, 2024 Results of Acceptance of Applications for Approval of an Establishment Plan for Specified Base Stations for Proliferating 5th Generation Mobile Communication Systems in the 4.9 GHz Band (hereinafter referred to as the “Plan”)
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) sought applications for approval of the Plan from Monday, September 30, 2024, to Wednesday, October 30, 2024. The MIC received an application from one party.

2. Future plans
After examining the received application, the MIC will consult the Radio Regulatory Council, chaired by SASASE Iwao, professor emeritus of Keio University, regarding the approval of the Plan.
