New-generation Mobile Communications System Subcommittee Results of the Solicitation for Opinions on the Draft Report from the New-generation Mobile Communications System Subcommittee
- Technical Requirements for the Advancement of 5th-Generation (5G) Mobile Communications Systems (RedCap/eRedCap) (hereinafter referred to as the "Advancement Technical Requirements"), as Part of Technical Requirements for New Generation Mobile Communications Systems (hereinafter referred to as the "Mobile Technical Requirements") -

 Regarding the Advancement Technical Requirements, as part of the Mobile Technical Requirements in consultation no. 2038, dated October 12, 2016, the New-generation Mobile Communications System Subcommittee, chaired by MORIKAWA Hiroyuki, professor at the Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo, under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council, compiled a draft report and solicited opinions from Saturday, October 26, 2024, to Monday, November 25, 2024.
 As a result, 21 opinions were submitted.

 Draft report from the New-generation Mobile Communications System Subcommittee under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council

2. Future plans

 Based on the results of the opinions solicited, the draft report will be discussed at the next meeting of the ICT Subcommittee (chaired by OIE Yuji, professor emeritus of the Kyushu Institute of Technology) under the Information and Communications Council.
