February 15, 2024 Convening of the Space Communications Advisory Board

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will establish a fund for the Space Strategy Foundation and convene a Space Communications Advisory Board to deliberate on effective measures for promoting space communication policies, including those related to the fund project.

1. Purpose

MIC aims to conduct space strategy fundraising and engage in the research and development of ICT in space, as well as the promotion of radio spectrum usage. With the inclusion of this fund project, the purpose of convening the Space Communications Advisory Board is to obtain advice from experts on the effective promotion of space communication policies within MIC.

2. Items for Implementation

(1) Advising on the development of implementation policies for the Space Strategy Fund within MIC
(2) Advising on space communication policies that MIC should prioritize
(3) Advising on other necessary matters for implementing space communication policies

3. Schedule

The first meeting will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024, and subsequent meetings will be held sequentially after that.
