April 26, 2024 Results of the Adoption Related to the Public Solicitation for the “Project on Digital Utilization Support” Funded by the FY 2023 Supplementary Budget (Project Implementers in the Type of Nationwide Deployment and Instructor Dispatch)

 Deloitte Tohmatsu Telework Center Co., a subsidized entity, conducted public solicitation for the implementers of the Project on Digital Utilization Support, which was funded by the FY 2023 supplementary budget. The project implementers are divided into two categories: nationwide deployment and instructor dispatch.

1. Outline of the project

 To alleviate concerns about digital utilization among the elderly, the Project on Digital Utilization Support provides seminars to offer advice and consultations concerning online administrative procedures using smartphones, etc. It aims to eliminate the "digital divide'' and realize a society where everyone can benefit from digitalization through such activities.
 The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications publicly solicited project implementers in the type of nationwide deployment and instructor dispatch, and it accepted applications from Monday, April 8 to Friday, April 12, 2024, through Deloitte Tohmatsu Telework Center Co., a subsidized entity.

2. Results of the adoption

 As a result of the public solicitation, we received a total of 3 applications for the nationwide deployment type, 8 applications for the nationwide instructor dispatch type, and 5 applications for the specific municipality instructor dispatch type. An evaluation committee comprising outside experts established under the executive body examined the applications. Based on the results of the examination of the committee, the following project implementers were adopted:
